People and Portraits
One of my main focuses is 'people'. A diverse and ever changing subject I thrive on trying to capture the essence of a person on camera, whether it is a staged photograph or an unplanned moment candidly caught.

My rates are very competitive and I'm always looking for new and challenging ways of capturing your family, friends, children and pets, as well as being happy to use the more conventional method.
Events
My love for documentary and reportage informs my event photography. This means that your event, be it a fancy dress ball, a business conference or a child's party, is captured in a candid, discreet fashion that least disrupts the occasion.
Pictures from your event are then placed on this website for you to view and purchase at your convenience. Other packages and commissions can also be agreed by contacting me to discuss your requirements.
Bands and Solo Artists
Bands and solo singers always make fantastic subjects. The scope to play with the visual aspect of a band or solo artist is great, as well as good fun. The end result is something that can be used for press packs, magazines, promotional material or on the cover or insert of a CD. Images can also be retouched and given the Photoshop refit to take them beyond the conventional.
With bands and musicians never having a huge budget, packages can be tailored to cater for all pockets and a variety of uses. Please contact me to find out more.
Documentary and Reportage
The world around us and the things that go on within it are part of the rich pageantry of life that triggers many things from anger to lust, hate to love and sadness to laughter, whether it be others or our own. It's portrayed in everything from the natural world to inanimate objects, things that whizz past, and others that appear over night.
One of my personal passions is to capture the essence of these things that make up life or individual events. This entails images from a one off portrait to a long term observation capturing images over a period that can extend into several years.
Personal Projects
Whilst not carrying out commissions, I pursue my own projects. Many of these have included portraits, fashion, reportage, documentary, music and landscapes. They are shot on anything from large, medium and 35mm format film to the digital SLR, and stem from anything that has captured my imagination or triggered my passion.
